Building Mobile Solutions That Actually Work

We started Baltolebah because we kept seeing businesses struggle with mobile apps that looked good but didn't solve real problems. Our approach is different—we dig into your actual challenges before writing a single line of code.

How We Got Here

Back in 2019, Rajat and I were both working on different mobile projects for companies around Bengaluru. We kept running into the same issue—clients would come to us after spending money on apps that technically worked but didn't help their business.

One client had paid for a delivery tracking app that was so complicated their drivers refused to use it. Another had a customer portal that looked beautiful but took six clicks to do what should've been one. These weren't bad developers—they just weren't asking the right questions.

That's why we started Baltolebah. We wanted to build mobile solutions by actually understanding the business first. Sounds obvious, but you'd be surprised how rare it is.

Now we work with businesses across India who need mobile solutions that fit their actual workflow, not just generic apps with their logo slapped on.

What Guides Our Work

Listen Before Building

We spend more time in the discovery phase than most developers. That's intentional. If we don't understand your pain points, we can't build something useful. We talk to the people who'll actually use the app—your staff, your customers, whoever's going to interact with it daily.

Simple Beats Fancy

We've turned down projects where clients wanted features that would make their app harder to use. A successful mobile solution does one thing really well, not twenty things poorly. Our job is to push back when more features means worse experience.

Build for Real Conditions

India's mobile landscape is unique. Not everyone has the latest phone or unlimited data. We test on older devices, optimize for slower connections, and design for how people actually use mobile apps here—not in some idealized scenario.

Maintain What We Build

Launch day isn't the finish line. Mobile platforms change constantly, and your business needs evolve. We stick around to fix issues, add small improvements, and make sure your app keeps working as things change. Long-term relationships matter more to us than one-time projects.

Who's Behind Baltolebah

Portrait of Rajat Kulkarni

Rajat Kulkarni

Technical Director

Rajat's spent the last twelve years building mobile solutions for logistics companies and retail chains. He's the one who figures out how to make complex business processes work smoothly on a phone screen. Before Baltolebah, he was lead developer for a supply chain management app used across three states.

Client Relations Lead

Venkatesh bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions. He's worked with over forty companies in various sectors, which means he's seen most challenges before. His strength is asking questions until he understands exactly what problem needs solving—then explaining technical options in plain language.
